This page contains answers to common questions handled by our
support staff, along with some tips and tricks that we have found useful and presented
here as questions.
Note: In these answers we will follow a few shorthand
conventions for describing user-interface procedures. Key combinations will be presented
like this: Ctrl+Alt+Delete, which means that you should press and hold down the
Control key, the Alt key, and the Delete key at the same time. Menu selections will be
presented like this: File->Open, which means that you should open the File
menu, and then make the Open selection.

The Main Menu of each application contains a "Close
Module" button and a ReadMe button, this will explain.
Select Help from the
main menu or click on the little yellow "?" question mark icon generally
found in the top left corner of EVERY TouringTools screen. This will take you to the Help
System. From there,
choose the application you want help with.
The help file for FileMaker Pro is not available to be "called" from
within the application because FileMaker, Inc, decided to allow it to be. I have
provided it with in the folder and you can access it by minimizing the application and
double clicking on it. In the final release of my applications, you will be able to
"call it" from within, only in the Windows Version. I am still working on a
solution for calling it from within on the Mac side.
You shouldn't! ;-)
What is ... ? the cost of the applications?
This has yet to be determined
When is ... ? the final release of the applications?
I simply don't know. I have projected many dates and for various reasons, missed
them all. Therefore, I will only say that I am moving on the final release as fast as time
permits. In the mean time, you are welcome to use the Demo versions, as they are, for as
long as you like. They are fully functional and I will gladly extend the Time-Limit to
anyone who requests it! Only the Beta applications are NOT fully functional.
